Running Deer Shoot

The Running Deer Shoot is a game of skill and maybe a little luck as well.

We shoot at a deer silhouette offhand at 100 yards. The deer silhouette is suspended on a wire at the 100 yard area and mechanically drawn across the field.

Usually there are five (5) relays per shoot and each contestant can shoot three (3) shots per relay.

These shoots are generally held on the three Sundays prior to Thanksgiving.
